I wonder if anyone of the others left that weird hat in the backroom of Akindo. How did it manage to fall on my head anyway, and I was sure it was talking! And then it just disapeared! Curse?

And um...does anyone know what a 'Hufflepuff' is?

Yeah, I think that's happening to a lot of people. Some other girl said that Hufflepuffs are loyal and hard-working, so I guess it's a good thing.

Doesn't sound nice all, but considering all the stuff we deal with here, I guess the weird things shouldn't be surprising.

Yeah, I'm getting used to it. I just got here a few days ago, and so far these curse things are more annoying than anything else.

Ah, I hate to tell you this, but you may never get used to it. The curses vary and change too much for you to settle. And some can be really nasty.

Believe me, I can get used to a lot of things.

What kind of nasty?

Well, there was one not too long ago that caused old wounds to reopen, so everyone was looking very ill, or even dead for the day!

And there was even a curse lasted a whole week, dragging people into a mirror version of the City, but somehow reversing some part of teh personality completely. It can get rather out of hand at times here.
