Sometimes in others we do trust.
When this auction came up I was tickled pink to find that the seller 'netcy' was offering free worldwide shipping. Not because I wanted to bid on the scarf (not enough money ^_^), but because it was so rare to see an offer for free international shipping. More usual to have a quote double (understandable) to ten times (exorbitant) what the cost of actual shipping is, or to state sending by express shipping only for international sales which deters bidding on the item. Not many people like to pay more for shipping than for the item itself.
Similar Gucci scarves presently go for about US$100 to US$125. I see I'm not the only person who finds the free international shipping attractive, the bid presently is over US$200. The link to the auction is here . (Page will be up probably for another 3 months only.)
