One thing I despise is how a big majority of people are extremely wishy-washy. Loyalty is something I hold in high esteem but it is something increasingly hard to find. People are ready to throw aside a friend because they found a boyfriend or girlfriend. Maybe they want to get drunk and you don't that. But you know, I think I can live with that more than the latter. People are not shoes, you don't wear them until they are not comfortable any more. Granted, people do grow apart in life, I have seen this happen many times and with good reason. This can also be a beauty in life. Change is a good thing, though it is sometimes hard to see it that way. It is just rare to find people who would give of themselves for a friend. To sum all of this up, loyalty is a good quality and it is hard to attain in a society that stress the attitude of "how can I better MYSELF?". There really is not anything one can do, we live with imperfection everyday. But then again, that is what happens when every person is born with a sinful nature.
Last night was a good night. Malinda, Josh, Nate, and I went to see the Last Samurai. It was a great movie, despite what Josh thinks. Malinda and I loved it and if you have the chance and a couple of dollars, grab a buddy and see this movie. Ah! but who can pass up a war movie.
