Every year I scream "What the fuck?! Are they watching the same TV I'm watching?". I even woke up early to watch them (though it's not like I'm sleeping much anyway). It's my own personal tradition every summer and I'm not one to break traditions

some additional comments:
scrubs FINALLY gets it's well-deserved best series nod, and zach braff, but deserves so much more. and arrested development.
when will and grace gets more nods than any other show...well, you know the math isn't quite right.
agreed: gilmore girls is and has always been snubbed. same with everwood. they are punished for being on the wb.
however. you can't quite say that eva longoria is being snubbed (not nearly on the level of lauren graham, treat williams, sarah chalke, etc) when it is her first year on a series where she has the least screen time of all the other lead actresses. she's funny, but it doesn't make up for the fact that marcia cross kicks FUCKING ASS or that hollywood has agreed to give teri hatcher an emmy for like, getting another part and still being hot. she submitted for supporting, but she's borderline, so probably, she got some nods (but not enough) for lead, and some (but not enough) for supporting, and you know, that sucks, but again, it's the first season, and she's also such a media whore that i don't really care. (did you ever see her on oprah, going on and on about all the good that show was doing for the image of hispanics, what with them being the richest ones on the block? like, HELLO, retarded little actress girl, yeah, you're rich, but you are a spoiled selfish brat, and your husband carlos? is not only a white-collar criminal who made all his money by embezzling, but has physically assaulted at least two guys, giving them massive injuries. so he's basically your typical violent criminal. but yeah. go hispanics. actually, while she was blathering all this to oprah like a dumbass, poor marc cherry looked REALLY uncomfortable, probably because he knew that he was actually presenting hispanics in a horribly stereotypical fashion. haha)
sorry. i mean, she's hot and all, and actually plays gaby rather charming--if anyone else played that character, i'd probably hate her as much as i hate lynette. with white hot passion. but she's just...i don't know, when actors think they are helping the world, it grates on my nerves. you're an actor. shut the fuck up.

Bree is my favorite housewive, too, and I do hope she wins over Teri Hatcher, who's type of funny seems to be the slapstick humor that gets tired after a few episodes.

jane kazmarak has actually won before, so it's not that random.

so, to go on:
Jane Kaczmarek rocks. So does Bradley Witford. They're one of my favorite Hollywood couples. *hugs them*
But how on earth can Will&Grace be showered with nominations when that show has been doing nothing but sucking last year? ARGH!
Yay for Scrubs!
But boo boo BOO on them for snubbing Gilmore Girls, and, since I'm a new fan and already so in love, Arrested Development.

gilmore girls being left without a nom AGAIN buggs me beyond belief. but yeah, happy about scrubs and desperate housewives!

but july, you should totally have seen this oprah thing, it was hilarious. she went on and on about how much pride she was giving hispanics, and how progressive the show is, and how she's never played a maid, blah blah blah... and marcia cross is sitting there with a really amused expression, like "oh, you adorable retard, you know nothing about systematic racism..."
and oprah is telling marc cherry that wisteria lane needs black people, and he gives her this really awkward smile where the hate is totally visible, and you know he's thinking "shit, now i'm gonna get letters. fucking oprah. you don't see the jews and the gay people complaining. i hate oprah."
and then nicolette sheridan pulls her dress up over her head and is like "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME I'M ON THIS SHOW TOO!!!"
and oprah is like "seriously. black people." and eva longoria is like "right, whatever, the HISPANICS LOVE ME!!" and oprah is like "did you intend to show make a statement about race with the solis family being the wealthiest ones?" and marc cherry is like "um. w-well...i--i..."
and she's like "black people. think about it. i'm just saying."

And I love Scrubs.
Then you look at the ratings and see that Will&Grace and Joey are the number 2 and 3 comedies. And there you have proof, once again, that the majority of people are idiots.
(I used to like Will&Grace a lot. But it has become soooo bad.)

Other than that however, Gilmore Girls still rocks my socks and Lauren Graham needs to be showered with awards asap.
