I woke up early (okay, not so early - 10:00 but it's early for me) so I could go shopping for school supplies, which I love doing. It's weird, but the sight of pens and notebooks is highly exhilarating for me. I tried to wake my brother up (he wanted to go with us) but he told me to go away. We had lunch at the mall (she had salad; I had pizza), and ice cream for desert. Mmm, cappuccino with cookies n' cream.
I actually cleaned today, not only my bedroom, but my bathroom too. I just got sick of them being the dark, dank messes they were. I made my bed for the first time in days. I picked up all ths shoes and clothes strewn around the floor. I'm a pack rat, so I cleaned my shower of all the half-empty shampoo and conditioner bottles. For a final touch, I lit some incense in my bathroom. It's an odd feeling, cleaning without wanting to kill myself.
I finished watching season four of Buffy last night. I know that some people think that season four is the season everything went downhill, but I love it. It has some of the best episodes ever.
The Freshman - Sunday. She's like a female Spike. And Xander. I love Xander in this episode.
Living Conditions - The Buffy/Kathy showdown, and Kathy's conversation with her demon parents.
The Harsh Light Of Day - Xander squeezing the hell out of the juice box when he turns around and sees Anya naked.
Fear Itself - "Who's a little fear demon?" "Don't taunt the fear demon!" "Why, can it hurt me?" "No, it's just tacky"
Beer Bad - Willow tricking Parker. I hate you, Parker.
Wild At Heart - As absolutely heartbreaking as those scenes are, I love (in a sad way) when Willow catches Oz with Veruca and when they break up. Aly is so good in them, dammit.
The Initiative - Spike trying to bite Willow and finding out he can't: "Doesn't this happen to every vampire?"
Pangs - "A bear! You made a bear! Undo it, Undo it!" and "A ritual sacrifice...with pie.""
Something Blue - Spike and Buffy. Engaged. Too. Funny.
Hush - Absolutely brilliant, all of it, but Giles's slides? There are no words.
Doomed - Spike trying to stake himself and not succeeding. Hilarious.
A New Man - Spike stealing from Xander
The I in Team - "You know how it is with a spanking new boyfriend" "Yes, we've enjoyed spanking." Emma Caulfield's comic timing was just excellent. *sniffle* RIP, Anya
Goodbye Iowa - Sleepover at Xander's.
This Year's Girl and Who Are You - One of my favorite two-parters ever. Faith's dreams. Cleavagy slut bomb. Faith-in-Buffy. Faith-in-Buffy making faces in the mirror. SMG's acting. Faith-in-Buffy teasing Spike. Buffy-in-Faith talking to Giles (that doesn't make you any less crazy!). Faith-in-Buffy beating up Buffy-in-Faith, because she hates herself so much. One of the best fights ever. "Come on, man, our families are in there! Our mothers, and tiny, tiny babies!".
Superstar - The credits
Where The Wild Things Are - Giles singing. I'm so with Willow; it was hot. Anya and Spike reminiscing about killing and maiming.
New Moon Rising - Oz's and Willow's final goodbye. Tara and Willow: "You have to be with the one you love...I am."
The Yoko Factor - Spike. Spike. Spike. I love it when he's raising hell. Drunk!Giles was absolutely priceless. Willow being dramatic with the cat. The entire conversation about Xander getting fired from the phone sex job.
Primeval - The scene where Super!Buffy deflects the bullets and they turn into a bunch of doves is truly lovely. I loved the way the four actors' voices mixed - it was eerie and kind of wonderful.
Restless - Cowboy!Riley and Man-hating!Buffy. Harmony trying to bite Giles. "I'm very seldom naughty". (Willow's dream) A shark..a land shark. Spike and Giles in the swings. All the women wanting sex with Xander. (Xander's Dream) Spike selling himself as an attraction. I wear the cheese, it doesn not wear me.Anya as a comedienne. The song as exposition. Willow researching while holding a lighter and swaying to the music. (Giles's dream) "We've come up with a plan for world domination. The key element, coffee makers that think". "Let's make a fort...I'll get the pillows" Buffy answering back to the first slayer. (Buffy's dream) The beautiful desert scenes and camera angles. The cheese man. All the foreshadowing. The commentary.
