Bought CoE today at Best Buy while it was on sale... and because it came with a CD of the radio play which fills in some of the gaps between the end of S2 and CoE. Looking forward to hearing it on my shiny new iPod tomorrow before I watch the miniseries this weekend.

I loved Star Trek TNG novels on tape when I was younger... great background noise on the walkman to get other stuff done.

Dude, end of S2 was fuckin' brutal. I was talking with stephl about CoE at the munch last night (and I've unfortunately ran into spoilers that weren't cut on someone else's LJ) and it sounds like what's coming isn't any nicer.

That one creeps me out, too. It has nothing to do with children, really, but the episode that creeps me out and illustrates for me how nasty people can be is Midnight - that whole mob mentality and how fear spreads... it's insane.

I'm sure there will be posty-postness once I've finished it all.

Blink is probably my favorite ep EVAR, and Midnight is #2. The ep of Torchwood that creeped me out most was "Countrycide." I knew it had to be humans for once ;)

"Fireplace" is in my top 5, as well.
