Update on life.
Okay, so I haven't really been updating this as often as I had been during school.
That's mainly because things have been going on and I have been Working.
Well, mainly trying to ignore the outside world, since I haven't actually been able to spend or save the money I've earned from work- I've been giving it to my parents to help with the bills. Thankfully I get to keep this paycheck, which is a good thing sicne I return to school on Tuesday, and I'll need said money so I can buy schoolbooks and supplies. I doubt I'll be able to cover everything, though, which is annoying because of, y'know, having to give the money to my parents.
What I have been doing though is a lot of RP with jai_takes_over and guil_solo , and since about mid December, also with makari_crow as well.
The RPing is pretty fun, and helps to let me get my mind off of things. I admit it is a source of escapism, which I possibly overindudge in at times, but I honestly think that without that sort of mental release I would have had an actual mental breakdown this last year or so, and that would not have been pretty.
All in all, this is my first real entry since 2008.
2008 was sucky.
I'm hoping this year will be an improvement, even if it does not look like I'm going to be able to leave this fucking town for another year.
Work has been mostly okay. I like it. I guess. I certainly don't mind working. I'm still mostly doing fries, but I've also been doing register lately too, and pass outs as well. I still need to get my food handler's card- which is a few months overdue. I just haven't since that kinda requires money, which I do not have. Er, didn't. Since technically tomorrow I'll be picking up the first paycheck I'll get to technically keep. If only to spend immediately on school. Again.
But I'm rambling, so I'll leave off here.
