Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I want to do something less conventional in blogland than in other journal lands where I also happen to live. I’m going to answer some of your comments right here right now. Not in the comments section, but right here in my post. Personals!
First of all, Fez. Fez, as Mayo Girl kindly pointed out, I’ve been a Redskins Fan since birth. Being born in Washington, D.C. means that you can sing Hail to the Redskins before you can say your ABC’s. It’s part of one’s birthright. It’s also part of one’s birthright to nevernevernever give up on them no matter how absolutely rotten you think the current owner is, the way he plays fantasy football with real life players or his choice in a head coach of your beloved team. I am and I always will be a Redskins Fan and I know you find that shocking. Believe me, it shocks a lot of people. Especially when I yell at the television and can tell you that the game you're watching in the bar was actually played in 1987 and who won and what the score was because the bar has the telly tuned to the Classic Sports station without telling you...yes, I'm not quite what you think I am. But I hope you love me just the same.
