FIGHT THE DOUCHE
We coined that phrase at my College Job, where a colleague of ours was incredibly handsome but, unfortunately, also a douche. If only, we often said, if only [name redacted] would just fight his inner douche.
Currently, there are 291 bills that have passed the House that have been stalled by Republicans in teh Senate. Among these bills is the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act. One Senator, ONE is blocking a bill that has epic bipartisan support (Even Inhofe is for the bill.). And that douchebag is Senator Coburn (R-OK).
So, my generation did what we do best: sit on our asses and wait for somebody to do something about it. No, really, they're sitting in at Senator Coburn's offices in Oklahoma. You can help the sit in by signing the petition HERE. Or you could drive there and join them! (If I weren't leaving the country, I might be packing up for Oklahoma City. Unemployment. Gotta love it.
