I’m going to a murder mysteries party tonight, with old school friends, over a Jonny’s to celebrate the new year. My invitation says that I’m ‘Doris Johnson: and eccentric amateur archaeologist.’ must find a costume.
Watching over old episodes of the Office. I love that program, and I was too young to appreciate it when it first came on.
Tim is completly brilliant, and the banter between him and Gareth is priceless.
Can’t believe NBC remade it. WHY?! The original version was so good and the NBC version is just awful. It really pisses me off when they do that to British comedies. They did the same with coupling, I loved that program. They should all be hanged for murdering perfectly good tv programmes. It would be like if we scrapped the original version of lost, re-shot it on Blackpool beach and then complained when it didn’t do that well.
I know it doesn’t completely translate but what’s the point of spending loads of money creating and inferior version of a programme when they could just buy the original?! I mean I like American comedies too, but these programmes have some of our best actors and best writers, so why can’t they just be left as they are?
I’m very bored so I think I’ll just put another clip here to fill space.
While we're on this subject, anyone here ever seen love soup? I keep wondering if they're doing another series of that.
