That's it. It is officially Christmas time. I love Christmas! We put up the tree today (yeah disorganised bunch my family. we always do every thing late) and now I’m in a very festive mood. Our house is a barn conversion which means it’s quite big but the fact that it’s also rather nice is my mum’s fault. The people here before us had absolutely no taste. Seriously the kitchen surfaces were decorated in red plastic and it had brown carpet tiles, ugh! So we’ve spent the better part of six years making it a reasonable place to reside. It is in Aston though which is a pretty crap place to live frankly, so not all brilliant.
I rather like that picture as pictures go -although the shading got murdered by the scanner. Looking at it now though I can see all sorts of annoying mistakes that will probably drive me mad later but that’s how it is with drawings. It’s not actually that remarkable but I’m pleased with it because I didn’t use a source picture to do it so all the muscle structure is pretty much from memory (and a good deal of it is out I’ll guess but hey). But I genuinely was studying male form when I did this so I suppose it was fresh on my mind.
