Christmas Crack!
So it's been an age since I posted, yeah yeah yeah, I know. I've had too much and not enough happening in my life to blather about it here, I guess.
This morning I've been blabbering at M2 via text message and while the iphone means that's not nearly as masochistic as it might be otherwise, it's still kinda silly to ramble about stupid christmas movies that way. M2 is a remarkably silly and patient person, and I hope I haven't spent the morning annoying her.
Last night I gave in to one of my seasonal addictions... the Made-For-TV Christmas Movie... It's normally one of the guilty pleasures I only get to indulge when I'm at Mom's for Thanksgiving or Christmas time. I sit downstairs, freezing my butt off while absolutely glued to the tv. Well, this year some smart (and, yes, evil) network exec decided to put a whole bunch of them up on Hulu.com. So I watched a doozy called 'Holiday in Handcuffs' last night, and now I can't get Mario Lopez's face out of my head.
I don't even like Mario Lopez! I'd say that Slater was the most annoying of the Saved By the Bell characters, but they were all pretty damned annoying... except for whatever character Hayley Mills played in the first season or two... but only because she's Hayley Mills.
bleh. Stupid Christmas crack... I enjoy them while I'm watching, but I smack myself when I'm done and realize I've just poured 2 hours down the kludgy.
Of course, I'll probably watch another one tonight. :)
