Given the proper motivation, I will pretty much drive anywhere. Roadtrips are always more fun with another person, so that there is someone to share all the quirky observations with.
The drive down was a lot nicer than the drive home. Daylight is always nice, even though there is literally nothing to see in central Illinois.
Some cute boys from Missouri hit on me at a rest area.
I had no idea that there was an El Paso and Atlanta, Illinois. (Not that cities can't share the same name, like Springfield, but those names seem particularly unique).
I passed a truck transporting "Inedible Fat." Because "edible fat" would be so much more appetizing?
Driving also gives one lots of time to think...
