Reasons my life is irritating today:
I was paid a "real" check (aka not direct deposit) for the first time in a while last week. It was my first check from the Daily Press. I very much need the money in order to pay rent... due tomorrow. So last night I realized I didn't have it in my purse any more. I remember taking it out when I went out sometime, so as to not misplace it. I misplaced it. I think it was thrown away, but I'm not sure if it was tossed from my apt. or from my car (truck... which I'm still driving... instead of my car... yet another irritation). So... lost paycheck. On the bright side, I spoke to payroll today and they were pretty cool about it and said they'll have to cancel the check and reissue it... it'll take at least a week. Rent? F it.
Today I got a call from my bank, BB&T, saying they needed to verify something on my account. I called, and was referred to the fraud and abuse department - never a good thing, in case you were wondering. So they asked me if I'd made any purchases at Lowe's in Tampa, FL, over the weekend. I've never even been to Tampa. Much less Lowe's in Tampa. So someone used my check card info there. They charged about $250. So now, I am not only out a paycheck and a car, I'm also out $250 so some retard in Florida could refinish his floors.
I AM SO FRUSTRATED.
The first part is my fault, yeah, okay, but the fraud thing is just insult on top of injury. Now I have to go to the bank and get the charges cancelled, which will take a while and they'll still go through before they come back, along with having to go to the police station and fie a police report. I know I'm not the nicest person in the world, but dang dudes. Talk about bad karma.
Now I'm going to sexual harassment training. I hope there are some little hotties whose packages I can grab.
