I would go on a rant about how bogus this style assignment is and how stupid my computer is for deleting my work, but instead I will just talk about some thigns.
No, not related to school. Yes, the year's ending. Yes, I will miss all the seniors next year. Yes, I'm sick of all these lame mandatory jazz band gigs that Zack keeps signing us up for without asking us. But we all know that and we've heard it before, so I won't tire you with my reflections on this.
We had dodgeball after school today. I can see myself organizing a dodgeball club or intramural program next year once or twice a week to play dodgeball. It's fun. I played terribly, though, I'm not gonna lie. It was me, Evan, Tim, Potter, Dave Easton, Bob, Patrizio, and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Oh, Pedro Sosa was there for a few minutes, too. They were playing really well. It was a great team. Lots of double hits and great teamwork. Really clutch. We played against like 9 or 10 kids (Cory, Adam, Hilsdorf, Jesse, Jason, Cody, Kevin, Justin W, etc) and basically owned them. It was like 10 or 11 games to 4 or 5. Don't remember exactly. I could make up lots of excuses for not playing well (the balls were different than I'm used to - too squishy; my right wrist is killing me for some reason; something murdered my right elbow; etc) but the bottom line is I had a really bad dodgeball day. I couldn't get the trademark topspin throw, except for one game when it was on and just capitalizing. Sickest drop ever after a certain point. Really hard to predict. But yea, it has to be near perfect else it is an easy catch (hence, the rest of the matches).
I realized just now that my beard connects to my neck hair. Luckily that hair is light and not dark, otherwise it'd look terrible.
Can't wait for school to end, but I need to find a job somewhere. I have a few ideas but I haven't committed to one yet.
My car is functional again luckily.
I hold office in two honor societies next year. That means that I get to suggest ideas for fundraisers. That means that we will be having lots of ping pong, dodgeball, euchre, and SSBM tournies next year for $. :) Should be a blast.
