It's been a long time since I've updated here.
Honestly, nothing's been going on, though. Dave and I are still looking for jobs, and I think I'm going to get one at Union Station. My mom works there, and she says I'm a shoein, but they have to go through the proper procedures and paperwork first before I can actually get it.
Dave hasn't heard anything back from the security place in about 3 weeks, and I don't think we're going to. Background check my ass.
I've applied to Rockhurst University for a job they had posted, but I also haven't heard anything back from them either.
School's going well. Midterms are on Tuesday, and after that it's just 4 more weeks/classes before...you guessed it! I get my diploma! I will be an official college graduate! It only took me...oh...6 years. I should have been done with this a long time ago. I swear I'm slightly ADD or something. The shiney stuff (re: computers!) distract me like nobody's business.
I'm starting to get into gear for applying for real jobs, and will start that after next week's class. That'll give me 3 weeks of spamming my resume to everywhere I can think of. If I haven't heard anything even after school has ended, I'll suck it up and apply to Medtronic or something, where my aunt and uncle both work.
Who knows. Maybe I'll get lucky with something.
Anyway, that's it.
