I've long had this brown leather satchel. It always carries books. It's been with me through thick and thin. I've brought it everywhere, slung it around my shoulder in the most unlikely of locations. The creases on its leather surface mark the viccissitudes of this transient life.
I bought another sonofabich copy of the goddamn Catcher in the Rye. But I congratulated myself for not buying another copy of The Great Gatsby. It had, for some reason, a picture of a cat on the cover.
