I am open to adding friends but I tend to question random adds from people whom I've never seen around. If you fall into this category tell me why you want to be friends. Make it because of something we share in common, convo's through communities and not just because you like my graphics.

Hey, first off, I'd like to be LJ friends. So I added you, all you have to do is add me back. I've seen you in some graphic communities and that's another reason I'm here.

I'm Stefanie, the maintainer/owner of thepixelplace. I dont know how you feel about "promos" but I couldnt find anywhere else to ask you.

thepixelplace is a drama free freeware sharing community. Most posts offer pixels, icon bases, layouts, headers, banners, pretty much anything you could ask for on LJ for sharing.

For Members: Must post 2 sharing posts a month. May request 2 times a month for pixels, icon bases, and any other freeware pertaining to a certain theme. In example, Tigger. I'd find as many pixels with Tigger in them or of him, I'd try to find anything with Tigger on it, so that the freeware I shared with them could be customized for them. Our community is not an open requesting community. Members can only request 2 theme posts a month, and it's solely up to other members and makers to share what they have with the member that posted their request. Members and makers are not required to share if they don't wish to. But if no one else does, within 5 days, I (the maintainer) WILL. I will find anything and everything I can on the net in general for you. I like to keep my members happy and loyal. So I am loyal to all my members, makers, and mods.

To be a maker: ALL I ask from my makers is to offer 3 freebies a month. These can be pixel to blink, headers, icons, banners, color bars, anything they'd like to offer. The minimum number of requests to be taken on each offer is 5. So you offer a freebie, and take the first 5 requesters. You can offer it to as many requesters as you want, but 5 is the minimum. I do ask for my makers to offer one sharing post a month, but this is not necessary if the maker is not up to it, or overwhelmed with other community obligations and dead lines. And if they dont get around to all 3 offers, just message me personally and I will work with you, no matter what. If you need to be on a hiatus there will be a modmaker journal to tell me what dates you need off. You do not have to give me a reason, but I will always honor your request for time off. Always.

First off, my apologies that it has taken me so long to respond. Life has been a bit hectic lately. I did add you back.

Secondly. Thank you for the invite to your comunity. To be honest life has me super busy between school - work and other things so I will have to respectfully decline. I don't think I'd even be the most attentive member, but when I do get some more free time I will definitely keep this in mind.
