This and that...
1. STAR TREK: TNG: A friend of mine send me the link to this site. There are loads of behind the scenes pix from Star Trek-TNG, my first sci-fi love. I hadn't ever seen those before. They look like such a happy family. I miss that show :)
2. BOOKS: So I just finished Khaled Hosseini's "A Thousand Splendid Suns." Wow, what a moving and powerful book. I can highly recommend it. It's nearly unimaginable what women have to go through in countries like Afghanistan, to this day. The book made me appreciate the fact that I was born a free woman in a peaceful country so much more. Go read it, if you haven't already!
3. CASTLE FIC? Can anyone recommend good Castle ship fic authors/stories? While I've shipped them from the get-go, I just started reading Castle/Beckett fic, but I have no clue where to start. Tips? I'd be eternally grateful :)
4. THANKSGIVING: Well, it's early, I know, but I'm already wishing all y'all Americans a Happy Thanksgiving week! Being back in Berlin, I'll be working that day, thinking of you guys stuffing your faces with lots of good food. And pumpkin pie. That's what I'm gonna miss the most. Maybe I'm gonna try bake one just for the hell of it. :)
