In which I mention football (soccer, whatev), moving, vacation and...poop
1. Soooo, the 2010 World Cup has officially begun!! So psyched!!
Looking forward to Saturday and watching England kick US butt. (Sorry, no offense ;P). And then, OF COURSE, watching Germany (wOOt, wOOt!) kick some Aussie butt on Sunday!!!
2. OMG, I can't believe the amount of crap I have acquired over the course of seven years in the States. I'm going through it all to see what to throw/give away and what to take back to Germany. Even if I wanted to (and I really don't), I can't take it all with me because shipping prices have gotten ridiculous (Boo!), not to mention the prices for adding extra luggage on flights (Double Boo!). Looks like Goodwill is getting generous donations from me this month ;). (If anyone has ever moved overseas and has any shipping/moving suggestions, I'm all ears :)
3. Mini vacation to Myrtle Beach was nice and relaxing! Not the prettiest place (too touristy and party-y), but just sitting in the warm ocean for hours at a time and not having to react to screaming kids was pretty awesome. Plus, I read an actual book. (Gasp!)
4. Don't know if this is funny or just a bid sad that David Duchovny is now talking about dog poop. Whatever pays the bills, right ;)
