Ok, so I haven't writen in a long time.....but that just means I have a lot to write about.
Hmmm, so since November:
Thanksgiving was good. It was Tony, Heather, Me, Justin, and mom. We were all cracking each other up with stories from our childhood. I cried the whole dinner from laughing so hard. Welcome to the fam Justin!
Christmas was crazy and EXPENSIVE! And I don't really feel like writng all about it. And I'm sure noone cares about it, so moving on.
NEW YEARS! Yea! Talk about a blast. Justin, Langmaid and I went to our buddies new house on Elizabeth Lake. It is absolutely beautiful. The house was packed and I must say I was looking pretty fancy. Justin and I were definately Ken and Barbie that night. We played a round of flip cup and toasted at midnight. I really had a great night. Everyone was just in such great spirits and Justin and I were in our own secure world. After Ryan's house (about 1:30am) we headed over to Mike and Larry's where of course their party was still on at full force. So we stayed there for a bit and finally got home around 4am.
HANG OVER the next day. You know you are getting old when hangovers last 2 days.
On January 2nd Justin, his brother Adam, and I headed on our road trip to Sante Fe, New Mexico. Everything was going good until smoke started coming up from under the hood of Adam's suburn in Missori. So we pulled over into the middle of no where and called a tow truck. We had to stay the night in Sullivan (what? you've never heard of Sullivan? me neither) at a motel 8. As it turns out the truck costs $2400 to fix. It needed a whole new trans. So, we had to stay another night in the hopping town. When we finally got back on the road we ran in to freezing rain and a snow storm. TALK ABOUT A ROAD TRIP!
Because of all the delemma, our vacation in Sante Fe fell a few days short. But overall I had a great time. I got to really bond with Justin's family and visit some amazing sites. I went up in the Tram 10,300 feet in the air and ate dinner at the highest restaurant in the world while we watched the sun set. The mountains were just unbelievable. New Mexico is simply beautiful.
And now I'm home. We flew, no more crazy adventures on the road.
