Meet Elwood, the world's ugliest dog. And, no, that's not just my opinion. There was a contest and everything.
Apparently, Ellie is a two-year-old Chinese Crested, and, yes, he's ugly even for that breed. In fact, the breeder almost put him to sleep when he was born! For being too ugly! Can you believe that? Thankfully, however, Ellie is alive and well and winning pageants and generally just being an inspiration to dogs everywhere. Don't ask me why, but I feel a deep fondness for Ellie. He's special.
Also, I just can't stop staring at that picture . . . .
