Big News!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carlos asked me to marry him today. (I said yes). We went to lunch at JB's Fish Camp, a great seafood dive in NSB, one of our favorites, and then he and I walked across the street to "check the surf." In the rain. As we arrived I commented that this was the beach where we met, and he's like, oh, really? Yeah, that's right. Which he knew quite well. So he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him once we got on the beach, and he gave me my mother's diamond, which we had previously agreed upon.
So the rest of the day was spent on telling people, planning details, planning not details, and talking. I am very excited.
We think we will get married on Oct. 28 in NSB. Invitations to follow around Sept. 1.
