Okay, this is a question/challenge for all of you.
Is there a law in California that states that an establishment that serves food and/or alcohol must provide water (or at least a glass that can be used to get water) free of charge?
Because last night I was at a country western bar (yeehaw! (don't ask, the trip was inspired by a texan)), and they refused to give me water for free. I could either pay $1.50 for a glass of tap water, or I could pay $3.00 for a bottle of water. I talked to three different bartenders and the manager, and ended up so pissed off that I left (except that I was the designated driver, so I just sat in my car for an hour and a half). I would really, REALLY appreciate it if anyone could find the paragraph number or code in the California state laws that would prove me right.
Thanks to all of you!
