Hear (and See) Me Sing This Week-End! RED LIGHT DISTRICT
I'm singing! Come See Red Light District this Week-End!
Red Light District is performing this Friday and Saturday evening! It is very exciting and that is why there are a lot of exclamation points!
We will be playing three BRAND NEW SONGS never heard before by a live audience, including "Adrift", which can be heard on our MySpace page.
We will also be unveiling our new line up with Detective Jack Archer on the big strings and Ms. Abby Markson on the six-string twanger. The rest of the live show is rounded by Alex "Mallets" Burke on the vibraphone and accordion, Dr. Naren Renz on keys, me (Juliette) on vocals, percussion and theremin ,and Shok on drums and percussion.
The performance is part of a cool theatre event with various acts held at the Elephant Theatre. (6324 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood 90038, near Vine St.)
The silent comedic duo, Ten West, is also performing on the bill!
Doors are at 7:30 for the full event, however if you come just before 9pm and mention either Ten West or Red Light District, you will get in half price @ $10

If you have not yet heard our music, it is a blend of 1920s, 30s, neo-vaudevillian sinister cabaret, set in the future with dusty circus-hop, trip hop, using voice, accordian, vibraphone, guitar, bass, synthesziers, odd sounds, found percussion, trumpet, cello and chance happenings.
