Short update...
Tonight is the Florez/VACO concert at the Cradle. I've been really excited about it for quite a while and not only because of who it is, but because this venue is where I met Florez for the very first time...so it will be like a reunion of sorts. haha
Well, in my previous rants about Florez, I've talked about Smitty aka Brian Smith, their tour manager. He's my music business mentor and I've had this dream that someday I want to work with him and shadow him to see what all I can learn.
Well, he got in touch with me today and asked if I could help him out at the show tonight. Note: this man does everything himself...including merch, so to me...it was a big deal that he asked me. So, I called him up and we confirmed that I'd help him out. I am really excited about it and can't wait to hang out with everyone tonight.
I've got a few friends who are coming and even a fellow Ingram Hill fan from Virginia Beach is coming down to see them!! YAH!!! See you tonight Renee!!
Anywho...it should be fun times, even though I was looking forward to just being an audience member tonight. I thought this might be a golden opportunity for me and I didn't want to pass it up. Either way, I am going to have fun and that's what counts. Wheee!
