Today was a pretty good day. The store was slow today and I think it was because everyone was out shopping. That was fine with me after all of the people that I had to deal with on Tuesday and Wednesday, but though the morning passed by quickly, the afternoon took FOREVER!
I got a ride from Birdie and checked my email and then tried to nap...but sometimes I just can't do it. So, I lay down for a while and then I got a text message from Candi. YAH! I was glad to hear that she had made it home safe and sound.
Now I've just been sitting here talking to my aunt online and working on some writing while listening to some music.
I am really excited about Numb3rs tonight. I am always excited about Numb3rs, but tonight Lou Diamond Phillips is back and also Connor Trinneer is starring! I am not going to pretend that I've watched a lot of Enterprise epis, but the ones that I did see...Trip Tucker was a pretty good character. It will be interesting to see what kind of character he will be portraying.
I am really looking forward to my next Starting Tuesday show. I think that my friend Meredith is coming...more for SpencerAcuff, but it will be neat to have someone there that I actually know. I am also going to be giving my first concert call to trekwriter who has made a request! I am excited that I'll have the opportunity to do that for her!!!! Wheee!! I've also got a helper. This high school kid that I met named Will is helping me to put out flyers, bless his heart.
Also, this Sunday I am going to see a play with my friend Domenick, so I am thinking that will be interesting.
I've really been thinking about mom a lot lately. I find that a lot of her favorite songs have been in my head when I certainly haven't heard them in ages. Then there are songs that I hear that make me think of her. It's good. I miss her like mad...but I think I am doing ok.
I am really digging my journal layout these days. Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback on it. I find it comforting. : )
In other news...I heard from Caleb Marshall the other day!!!!!!!! Yes, this is me being super excited. Let me tell you...he's been one busy little bee and it's only just beginning. I am going to be updating his website soon with the information that he sent! It's all very exciting stuff to me!! WOOHOO!
I bought a new book that I am excited to read. It's called "Nights Below Station Street" and Caleb's uncle...David Adams Richards wrote it and Caleb has finished his first draft of his adaption of it for stage. Apparently he has a whole series of books, but I'll read this one and see how that goes before I go getting ahead of myself. haha
I watched last week's epi of Invasion, but I still have to get caught up on LOST. I am very curious as to what happened. I am not sure when I am going to have the chance to watch that though.
