Autumn

I can't exactly explain why, but I am particularly enjoying this fall season. There is something very comforting about the feel of it.

The smell of the fallen leaves...the different way that the sun shines...pumpkins, apple cider or that cup of hot chocolate while you are feeling all snuggly in a nice warm sweatshirt while reading a good book.

The sun is warm, but the gentle breeze is cool and the hay and pumpkins at work have been a treat. Watching the kids pick them out has been a gift this year. I do remember that while growing up, I never did like trick or treating (I know, I'm wierd) but I always loved the feeling of everyone being out and around each other, crunching over the crisp leaves that littered the sidewalks and yards.

Caramel apples...that's another one.

I never like to see the bare trees, but seeing the leaves in bright, vivid colors right before they fall is such a sight and it makes me remember the beauty that is around me and how the world is constantly changing.

Seeing that I've been in this mood, for some reason, this new guy I've been listening to has fit right into that. His name is Paul Christianson and he's from Minnesota. He's currently playing in a band called Policy with the keyboard player, Daniel, from Starting Tuesday. I don't know...it's just the feel of his music and knowing that he wrote the songs. It was really what I needed to hear...still am heearing it too...lol.

Anywho...I just needed to get all of that out about fall because it's been bottled up inside me for quite a while now and I needed to make room for other feelings now. Hopefully this will help. I hope that you guys are all enjoying fall in your own ways, even if it's soaking up the last rays of sun and dodging snakes in the woods. *winks at mustangcandi.

Love you guys! *huggles...T
