Hope 2 Haiti 2012
Hey guys. Wow...so much has happened this year. Honestly it's been amazing, but has kept me pretty busy. Some huge news that I haven't even had a chance to share with you all...as of the beginning of January, I was appointed the Executive Assistant to the Director of Random Acts!!! I KNOW! I'm so excited!! Though it's kept me incredibly busy, I've been loving every minute of it. I've met some truly amazing people and I feel very fortunate to have been chosen for this position. I look forward to all that we'll be doing in the future. So many fun things are already in the works!!
One thing is AMOK!! March 4th is our Annual Melee of Kindness. We're going GLOBAL...so please feel free to join us in doing acts of kindness on that day. You can submit your act on the website and be eligible for our SAARA (Semi-Annual Awards for Random Acts) award or just chime in and let us know what you did!
We were also finalists in the Shorty Awards, going from 19th place all the way up to 5th! It's all very exciting stuff and I'm really proud of all that we've accomplished in such a short period of time!!
That being said, it's time for us to return to Haiti to continue the work we started last year. I think the video speaks for itself:
I am helping to raise money through a Crowdrise page. I don't want you to feel obligated, but if you have been looking for a cause to donate to, I'd like to take this opportunity to vouch for the project and to say that should you choose to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated and would go towards a very good cause.

I will be updating as the organization grows and we do more things. As I said, I'm very excited about being a part of such a wonderful organization and to be a part of a team who work very hard to promote Random Acts of kindness all over the world. : )
Even if you can't contribute...sound off here and just share some things that you've done as a random act of kindness lately. I've found that oftentimes, reading what others have done is a great inspiration and encourages us to pass it along.
