Hey gang!
No real reason for this, just felt like updating for some reason. : )
So far this week is going pretty well. My first week of classes has been a good transition from doing nothing to getting back into the swing of things. I have been enjoying both of them so far and am a little more ahead than I usually am. Naturally I didn't have an immense workload this week, and that is going to change, but for now I am living it up and just enjoying it.
I've also had a little downtime in the evenings and have been indulging in some Final Fantasy X, which is always fun! WOOT!!
I went to the gym this morning for the first time in ages and it was good for me. I don't know what my total problem is with just not being motivated for one reason or another. I just haven't been able to get back into a groove. I need to find one though...I know I need to work on my health.
I also want to say THANK YOU to seramercury for the package that I recieved today!!!! Enclosed was "The Long Goodbye", an epi of Atlantis that I missed somehow, a bubblegum candy stick (which I already ate...haha), a yummy pic of Orlando, and finally...a patch with the Pegasus Galaxy point of origin on it!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! (This is where Atlantis is located)
I talked to Jeff today and it was great, as usual. We had some business to take care of before we got to really talking, but he told me that he feels that we work on things on a bit of a deeper level than he does with any of his other students and we both feel that it's important and I felt a bit honored that he is going above and beyond to work with me. I am going to be researching something really neat this week and I'll keep you guys posted on what exactly that is when I find out more about it myself.
As for work...I am not nearly as burnt out as I was. Before the holidays, I just wasn't sure that I could even take looking at that place anymore. Things there have been a little bit better and last week was actually a good week for me and that's something that I haven't had in a really long time when it comes to that place. It's also time for my job dialogue and I've been putting it off because my team leader was being a butthole. However, he seems to be back to normal again and so I am going to take some time soon and fill that out and get that process moving along. Hopefully I'll get a raise out of it. : )
In other news, Saturday is Orli's birthday! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! I do so love that boy. hehe
I got to talk to my brother on the phone yesterday for over an hour, which is the most I've talked to him in forever, even while I was home. It was really great to talk to him and we laughed and joked around like we always do, but we also talked about some serious things and I just felt better afterwards. I feel so disconnected from him and Heather sometimes and that really gets to me. So, it's good to know that even though there's this distance and stuff...things are still good with us and he seems to miss me just as much as I miss him. : )
All right, well I feel that I've been rambling on and on here and I don't really know why! haha...I guess I finally had something to say. : O
