What will happen to leftover pizza if I put it in the fridge? Will it go soggy? I don't want to leave it on the table (which would be my customary approach if, say, at home) ftb Cockroach Problem - I am pretty sure they'll be able to get into the box. You could try putting it in the oven, but not turning the oven on.

The oven does not work, & I am pretty sure there are Things living in it. Things with webs. Probably more roaches. (yergh)

I was about to say - if it does go soggy a few minutes in the oven should make it tasty again. But that's no good to you, is it?

Sadly no! But consensus seems to be that it'll be fine anyway. Also no, I am not eating it now. It is bigger than I expected, & I will be sick, which would be bad.

I could post it to you? Not sure it wouldn't be soggy by then tho.

I would go crazy and buy a roachproof tupperware container to put it in!

But it is 23:00 and the shops will be shut! Time is of the essence in this matter! (I do *have* roachproof tupperware, but none of it big enough for half a pizza.)

(Seriously, right, what is wrong with me that suddenly I can't eat a whole large pizza all by myself? I am worried for my stomach; it must be shrinking.)

I agree with djm4 - I think it's less likely to go soggy in the fridge than in a container. We always put pizza leftovers in the fridge - ours generally have cheese on them, and I don't like leaving dairy products out overnight.

Cool, thank you! We are v lazy about these matters, as a rule; but it's amazing what the known presence of scuttly pest-things will do to your concern levels :-/
