Summer of Antwerp July 6th - 9th 2006
Ever since I saw pictures of the theater group 'Royal de Luxe' it became an obsession to see their street theater in Antwerp. And so you can imagine I felt the luckiest girl in the world for actually being at the Summer of Antwerp.
The story:
Once upon a time there was an Indian sultan who couldn't sleep because a giant girl who could travel through time was always teasing him in his sleep. The lack of sleep caused anxiety attacks and he became sick.
To cure the sultan a giant elephant, who could also travel through time, had to search the girl.
The search took place throughout Antwerp and weird things could be seen like cars that were sewn together with a giant needle as the giant girl's favourite hobby was sewing :P
After four days the elephant and the girl become friends and she goes back to where she came from in her rocketship.
