My first day at VCU campus
Yesterday was my first full day of living at college. I was so nervous driving down here that my tummy hurt and I seriously felt as though I might throw up. When I got here my roommate was already here! I turned the doorknob and there she stood. She asked me if my name was Elizabeth and I said yes. From there, everything steadily became easier. Her name is Miya and she's really nice and she's fairly accepting as far as I can tell. She's an art major. We ate lunch and dinner together and visited Jack's apartment. And I like my room too! It's actually quiite wonderful...we each have a dresser, a desk, a wardrobe closet and I got the bottom bunk just like I wanted. Before I fell asleep I smiled, thinking to myself.
The only drawback I could find was that there is no AC. Oh, and that James talks too damn much ^_^
