Thanks to all the well-wishers...unfortunately, the exam results didn't go the way I'd hoped they would, but I don't feel too broken-up about it mostly because I knew it could go either way and doesn't mean that I'm not smart enough or anything like that. Mostly, it's just wearisome to think of having to do the studying all over again, making up a new study plan, writing practice cases...I'll need a new study partner, too, because thankfully my friend Michelle passed the exam just fine. It would have been great to put this all behind me, but hopefully I'll pass the exam the second time around, next September.
Christmas party on Saturday was pretty good -
isolde_101 seemed to enjoy herself, what with BNL performing on stage for over an hour; an exclusive Q&A session with the band; a fairly decent meal; and, of course, precious time spent with yours truly. The weather outside left something to be desired, but this IS Toronto in the winter so not much else can be expected. At least the snow didn't ruin my prissy shoes. :)
Had fun on Sunday, too - met up with Michelle and Fast-Talking Joanne at the Eaton Centre but we were all running slightly later than usual so we didn't end up going to a movie. Michelle and I went to my brother's place after that and met up with my bro and two of my cousins, where we played some XBox 360 for a while and ordered pizza. This weekend was a pretty good way to distract myself from thinking about the exam, methinks. I love having weekend plans. Two days is a long time to just sit around and do nothing...ha! Weird sentence for me to type, really, since I'm such a homebody. I think I just miss hanging out with my friends, some of whom I should really see more of more often...
