Quaking

I'm excited for my friend and critique group member, Kathy Erskine, whose YA novel QUAKING (Philomel)comes out in two days. It is a great story and I knew the minute I read it as a WIP that this baby would be published! My well-read and hard-to-please daughter was 15 at the time, and I passed it on to her to read. She finished it in one night and said afterwards, "This book is going to win an award, Mom."
