Life is going pretty good down here! I had a very fun weekend with Beth and Brandon in San Diego. We played Pirates of the Carribean Life, which we all like! Got a chance to catch up and spent Sunday at an Octoberfest in La Mesa. Lots of food and booths and such. I got a sticker for my new little Red Car. It is a white outline of the Power Puff Girls which goes perfectly with my Power Puff Girl floor mats. My favorite girl is Bubbles, but I hardly ever watch the cartoon. Then I got to meet Beth's parents who were very nice and welcoming. Then drove home Sunday evening and had to stop to do grocery shopping for the week even though I was really tired and just wanted to sit on my butt and watch the Amazing Race. But I did my chores and still had time to sit and watch the show. My team is the recovering drug addicts who are still in the race which makes me glad, but I really hope the black mothers win. And the barbies need to die. Work is going well, got a small raise and my Christmas bonus will be a plane ticket to England in July, which is totally awesome! Haven't gotten a second job just yet. I am thinking after the holidays I will try to get a job at the local ice rink, so then maybe I can get some free ice time, a discount on skates I want to buy, AND extra cash. I am still hoping to one day join an ice hockey team, because it is super fun. But I really need to learn how to skate and dash and cut and handle a puck before I feel like I could contribute to a team. I now have health insurance at work, so if I injured myself, I would be covered. But that seems like such a long ways off. One day at a time!
