SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Screen Prep and reclaiming

·        Degreased and dehazed screens.

·        Applied emulsion to screen using a scoop coater.

·        Planned placement of film positives as necessary on screens.

·        Exposed and cleaned out image on screens.

·        Cleaned up screens efficiently using power washer and emulsion remover.

·        Kept screen in safe environment so no damage would occur.

Pre-press

·        Illustrated desired image using light table.

·        Scanned black and white images into Photoshop 6.

·        Resized and edited image in Photoshop 6

·        Imported image into Freehand 8 to add text.

·        Manipulated and placed text using Freehand 8.

·        Printed vellum of  final image.

Inks and Substrates

·        Carefully mixed colors and added Lyntex for adhesive texture.

·        Performed printing process on paper and paper sticker stock using createx ink and flat press with screen clamps.

·        Printed two color polyester sticker, using Nazdar inks.

·        Applied Plastisol ink to one color t-shirts
