The Ceremony of Ceremonies

Stones Rising, from start to finish, follows the ritual outline of many Moon Services at Four Quarters…

First, as celebrants we gather at the Greensward outside Stone Circle…

The Ceremony of Gathering at the Green -- Wednesday evening

…then we process in and the circle is cast…

Casting the Circle -- Thursday evening

…we turn reverently to the Four Directions…

The Call at the Crossroads -- Friday early afternoon

…offer gratitude to the Ancestors…

The Washing of the Stones/Faerie High Tea -- Friday afternoon

The Night of Remembrance (including Labyrinth, Night Pull, Etenna Egun, Ignition Fire Circle, and Tales of Stones Past) -- Friday night

…invoke the Divine…

The Ceremony of Divine Challenge -- Saturday evening

…then unite our strengths to perform a magical Working…

The Night of Purification (including vigils in Stone Circle, Fire Circle, and Kitchen...altars by each of the Four Tribes....devotional singing...time to rest, pray, or worship) -- Saturday night

The Ceremony of Commitments -- Sunday morning

The Rising -- Sunday morning and afternoon

The Consecration -- Sunday evening

The Night of Celebration (including the biggest party Stones has ever seen!) -- Sunday night
