We have to change our data fields in our Drug & Alcohol services computer system here at work to include “Pregnant Female” and now “Pregnant Male”.

Haha... yep. They are transgender people (biological women who identify as men). There is apparently some law now saying we have to comply with this change in data elements. (I work for the Behavioral Health Dept for the County - and the healthcare industry is super particular about everything)

OH how funny! No, I don't recognize the name but I looked her up and she definitely works in my division! haha... I wonder if I DO know her! Eeek, I better be more careful what I say about work from now on. hehe.... ;)
