(no subject)
So I've decided to actually update my journal again...I don't know if I'm actually going to keep up with it, but I figured I'd let anyone who still bothers to read this know what I'm up to.
I'm ALMOST done with Student Painters and I can't wait! I worked as a branch manager for them for the summer (which ended up being like March-September) with the promise of making lots of money and getting internship credit. I ended up making an okay amount of money, but worked like crazy and felt like I didn't even have a summer. I think the company made more money off me than I did. I am painting now too to try to finish. I don't know what I would have done without Tony working as my production manager. I am definitly not doing this again I decided.
Tony and I are still together :). We hit the 3 year mark yesterday (we decided to celebrate on the day he asked me to h.c. junior year since there wasn't really a specific date otherwise). He is starting out a fire science program at BCC this year and training to become a firefighter. He is working with the Redmond Fire Dept. now as a lieutenant with the explorers. We haven't really done much except work this summer, but are thinking a trip to Hawaii or Mexico might be nice sometime soon.
I am majoring in business at UW...I don't really know what I want to do with my degree yet, but it seems like a pretty general thing I can do alot with. This fall, I am interning with a real estate development and property management company. I am also a FIG leader at UW. Should be interesting...
I found this random survey (well not really survey, but you get the point...) looking at other people's lj's (I think it came from Katy Kirwan's)
