Wait, I'm still worried.

If it's any consolation, it broke me too. *Two* migraines in a row after I finished it. Ow ow ow!

I could genuinely hear everyone here... you had me convinced. ;)

And thank you for that. It was a high-wire act, because each one had a different voice, and I had to really stretch for it. I'm glad it worked.

Hugs and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Oh, BABY! :smooch: I figured it just needed a slight tweak, rather than a reworking of the whole setup. Glad I was right ...!

Bless you.

Well, that was upsetting. I'm very glad it was never filmed.
That said, I love yours. The characters 'feel' right and just, well, no words but wow.
More please.

Yep, it's upsetting, but in ways that break the characters open for new views and angles, which is always my criteria for "ooooh, shiny" ... I tried not to linger on the most painful aspects too much. 'Cause dude. Painful in *concept*, much less in execution.

I'm so glad it worked out. That would have been awful to have dragged myself through it and it not been right ...!

I was so excited to see that you were writing Firefly. It's wonderful, of course. I bet it must have been really difficult to write, because 1. there are just so many characters and 2. eeeeeeek. Thanks so much for sharing it.

Thank you! Yep, the hardest part about this was my stupid brain's insistence that this was not a story to be told in one point of view. It could have been, of course, but somehow it just wanted to be done this way.

Which made voices *very* difficult. Oy.

Thanks again for the kind words!

Jesus fuck.

Well this needs to be rec'd everywhere in the universe.

I'll try for more coherent feedback at a later date. When I'm not stunned and so impressed I might want to weep.

Jesus.

Um ... wow? And ... wow? Bless you, dear. It burned my brain right out, so kind words help heal the pain.

Also, send Dr. Tam over, please. Thanks. I'm in need of some serious medical assistance after this.

Surely you get gushy feedback all the time? You're an amazing writer. Tight and sure, nothing extraneous, just enough to hurt. Now I have to go look through your archives and see if you do other Jossverse. Yes.
