Michael's graduation was a success. It was a small one. He is part of a home school program. So it was about 10 8th grade grads and about 4 high school grads. And because it was a home school group the parents came up with the student (since they were the educators) to present the diplomas.
I missed the presentation of the high schoolers. I was outside w/ the kids. My two youngest nieces (one being my step niece, but I just consider her my niece) would not settle down. Both Abbie and Chaeli were crawling under the chairs. Once they got done with the 8th graders, I went outside with Abbie. Becki and Chaeli went outside as well. Then the older two came out. They were running up the stairs in one of the building in the church, which I am guessing classrooms. Could not get them to stop.
My dad took me home so I didn't have to take the bus home. The bus ride there was awful. After I got out of the first bus I had to wait over 20 minutes in the hot Arizona sun until the second bus came. Then when I got on the bus the bus's a/c was bad. It was hotter in the bus. Finally I arrived and when the ceremony was over, I got some water. They had that and lemonade. Water was good enough for me. My stepmother who helped organize the graduation ceremony gave me 3 pieces of cake one of each flavor. (white, chocolate, and carrot) and a balloon that says 'Congrats Grad'. Like it's been over 20 years since I graduated high school, let along the 8th grade. But hey I have a balloon.
Oh man I missed my favorite player today on local TV. Grrr I could have watched him play today. If any of you saw it let me know how the Fin man did. Take care all and TTFN.
