Just got back from choir rehersal. The song we have been working on has two solo parts. Jerry our director auditioned people in the choir. I wasn't gonna do it at first, but everyone else left in the room talked me into it. I was soooo nervous. I'm still shaking thinking about it. Doubt if I will get it and don't care either way if I get chosen or not. But I really needed to do this to get through the fear. I hope he has more opportunities. That way I will get comfortable. What really made me nervous is this is probably the first time this director has really heard me. Plus they paired me up with one of our best male singers. (And nice looking I may add.) But Hugh was very encouraging to the ladies he was paired up with. (Only two men auditioned for the male solo.) But that's Hugh. Maybe that's what makes him a great chaplain. I'm glad he was assigned to me. Chaplains are a group of people in our church to pray with other people. The active membership, of which I am, gets a call from a chaplain every month to see if there is any prayer need. So they assign those people a chaplain. He's well aware of my work situation and keeps me in prayer all the time.

Well I missed the baseball opener in DC. I know we lost but in a way, I'm O.K. It was the DC opener and they haven't had baseball there in years. Now the Dback need to win. What the heck is with Javy? I rejected the first trade on Yahoo going with the advice of bullpenbratt22. I haven't decided on the other trade yet.

Someone in my Duran Duran community posted a D2 lyrics quiz. Only one I can't figure out but I swear I knew what song the rest of the lyrics came from. Boy am I a diehard Duranie. Although I haven't kept up with the new stuff that much. I want to get the latest CD they have out now.

I'm hoping I get my direct deposit on this check. I don't want to go to work and get it on my day off! Well I'm getting tired. I'll probably check message boards and go to bed. Goodnight to all my friend on LJ. ttyl
