I heart L.A. The beach was gorgeous, the weather was gorgeous, the shopping was gorgeous! Here's a summary of our trip:
Saturday: checked into hotel and toured Little Tokyo where we were staying
Sunday: L.A. Zoo, LACMA
Monday: Beverly Hills Centre Shopping and Hollywood
Tuesday: The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno (Rachel Weis, Nick Cannon, and Il Divo were on)
Wednesday: Santa Monica Beach
Thursday: Echo Park for shopping and Chinatown
Friday: Back home
Everyday we also went to little galleries for Jen's research. I wanted to buy a $7500 painting @ one of the galleries, but that's a little too much for art, don't you think? We needed to wear our sunglasses all the time because the sun was so bright and blinding. And I thought people down there wore them just for the fashion statement. We also saw Devon Aoki, some guy from Project Runway, and some other guy from Kid's in the Hall. Leno was awesome 'cause we were super close to the stage, 2nd row and centre. Now it's back to normal life....boo and yay.
