WRIGLEY FIELD!!
We went to a Chicago Cubs game yesterday at Wrigley Field! It was a ton of fun! They played against the Detroit Tigers and my hubby was just beyond thrilled! This was his first time going to Wrigley Field, and our seats were directly behind home plate! 9th row!! Wow, I've never had a vantage point like that. Hmm, wonder if we were on t.v. at all??
The Tigers did win 5-3, but it doesn't matter because we had fun. I took a bunch of pictures to commemorate our great day and so I can make some kind of special memory album for my hubby. It was 5 years ago almost exactly that we were sitting in Comerica Park in Detroit watching them play the Cubs!
That day was fun too, because my dad was with us, and so were the kids and they LOVED having their Grandpa Tom with them more than anything else. But we very much missed my mom being there, because she was a huge baseball fan, and it just wasn't the same without her. She watched from Heaven.
I got a lot of sun today , but the shade came to us about halfway through the game. So we were eased up from the 100 degree heat that we endured. It was definitely worth the day off from work.
