My Best Frenemy party at The Red Balloon!
Oh boy, this was fun! Big, red, balloony fun! I drove over to St. Paul, MN on Saturday to celebrate the release of My Best Frenemy at The Red Balloon Bookshop. If you are ever anywhere near Grand Avenue in St. Paul, you really must stop by and check out this wonderful children's bookstore! You'll know you're there when you see the three big bears out front. And the red balloons. That's another clue. :)
This is my daughter, Micah, and me! She and her boyfriend, Michael, met me for lunch and then helped me carry all my STUFF into the shop. Look at the three balloons above us. Don't they look like a heart? And check out my shoes: RED!
Lots of friends came. Camp friends, college friends, just-met-them-that-day friends.
Of course, George came too. He even brought along a friend who was just his size...

We played a game...
And made friendship bracelets...
And ate cake! YUM! The writing on the cake says "Keep your friends close and your frenemies closer." :)
