Away from Internet...
Ok, quick update as I squeeze in a few moments over a cup of coffee before heading from Larbert Scotland to Inverness with mum.
Since May 15th, I...
- Took the Eurostar to London to visit Bertram. We went to see STOMP and the Tate Modern Museum.
- Took a train to Newcastle to visit Morgan. I saw Newcastle, York, and Durham.
- Took a plane to Dublin to visit Laurie. We saw Dublin, Galway, Cong, Connamara, Kylemore Abbey, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, and a few other places that I can't remember right now.
- Took a plane back to Paris. Mom arrived, and we went to the "Court Pomp" exhibit at Versailles, dragged a 27kg suitcase through the Parisian metro, visited with friends from Calgary, went to Chartres, and packed / cleaned like crazy.
- Took a train to Brussels with Mom, four heavy suitcases, two backpacks, and two purses loaded full of crap. I figure, if I can get it to Belgium I'll eventually see the stuff again even if I can't take it back to Calgary with me right now. Nice people helped us on the way.
- Went to the coast with Mum, Tante Gracienne, and Herman for a few days. It was a much needed break.
- Went for ice cream with my aunt after a rather trying day.
