Well, it's been a while since I updated, as usual, so I thought I should do the obligatory Christmas post with some randomness thrown in.
-Christmas was very good. The best I remember in a while. Not in what I got or whatnot, but just that everything was just happy. I like that. My family loved what I got them, especially Mom and Tracy. Tracy screamed when she opened hers. I got her a miniature version of this favorite stuffed animal she's had for years and years. I found it on eBay with tags and everything. So cute. I made mom a scrapbook, and I swear she has shown it to everyone in our town already.
-I miss being home. It took 5 years, but I'm finally at the point where I like to go home. And I miss being there rather than missing being here. Still don't think I could go back to living there though. It's just too different once you've been on your own.
-My dad has been taking care of this very old man - an old family friend that my grandfather served with in WWII. The guy doesn't have any family that cares to visit him, so my family has kind of adopted him. But anyway, for Christmas he gave my dad a 37" LCD HDTV. It is the awesomest TV I have ever seen. So cool.
-Yesterday, I saw my first Siamese cat since Grey died. It was weird. This cat - Sam - looked so similar to her that it was hard to remind myself that it wasn't her, except for that Sam is a sweetie and Gretchen was anything but.
Well, I'm sure I had more to say, but I'm tired and need to get to bed, so maybe I'll update again soon.
