(no subject)
Lots of randomness to say today:
-Ritual was canceled last night. I'm really disappointed for several reasons: (1) I was asleep and woke up expressly for ritual. (2) Now we have to do it the Monday after spring break which messes up toga chapter, and a fundraising project and means that I have dress in black again. (3) I got rained on, so I have to wash my black clothes that I only had on for like 10 minutes.
-TFA. My interview went well, I think. Some parts were not as great as others. My lesson went really well! Better than in my practices by far. And my personal interview was good except for one question that I couldn't come up with a good quick answer to. So I rambled. But that's alright. The downsides to the day were that my backup pen ran out in the middle of a 30 minute essay after I had lent my usual pen to a guy from Alabama, and in the group interview we were around one end of a conference table, and I was the odd numbered person who had to sit not really in the group, so I couldn't get as much in as I would have liked to. But overall it was good. Now I have to wait until April 13th.
-But speaking of future plans, I'm about to start applying for jobs that are the my passion (similar to what Alan was talking about in his latest post) - publishing. It's what I've always wanted to do, and I really just need to get over my nerves about it and start applying. So I am.
-Thursday we leave for Clemson for SED Convention for TBS/KKY. I can't wait. I need a break. And SEDC is so much fun! I'm glad we have lot's of wonderful sisters going this year! And I'm the delegate which should be cool. And fundraising is going to be awesome. And I love car rides with fun people when I don't have to drive. And Theta Lambda is doing the 80's for TBS decade day, so we are crimping our hair and doing side ponytails and lots of other fun 80s stuff. Yay!
-Then next weekend is DI at Bob Jones. With CosmiCreations, finally! I'm excited about that too.
-Circle is going well. I have about a gazillion things to do with it before break though. I have to write my letter, proofread everything, and get T-shirts made. And hopefully I'll have some layouts to look at very soon.
-Bowling is getting more fun everyday. Mine and Jeremy's team is in first place! That's really b/c we are so bad that our handicaps are really high, but we're still winning. Today, we beat this team of really weird guys who we like to make fun of. Well, we beat them in one game and lost in the second, but I think we'll still be in first place. Fun stuff.
Wow, I think I've actually wasted a bunch of time here, so it's now time to go home, yay!!! Only two days till Charleston!
