* neutrois - I had run across this term before, with a guess as to the definition. I was mostly correct, in a general sense, but the recent discussion had me actually look it up. So now I know more. And it's totally cool and it may possibly be me. Something to think about.
* Grey-A - Had not consciously run across this term before. Perhaps I'd seen it and passed it by. First impression was it had something to do with aliens (called Greys). Turns out that's not it. I also looked that up. Also possibly me. Something else to think about.
* QUILTBAG - Again a term which I may or may not have seen before, but definitely hadn't given it the least little thought if I had seen it. And now I've run into it multiple times in multiple places. And it's cool as an acronym you can actually say. But it still leaves people out.
And you'd think I would've known these things before. I've never been part of the 'gay community'. Never attended a club at school, or an organization in town, or things like that. Being an introverted geek and reader, well, mostly I've been reading. Was I not reading widely enough? Or not reading deeply enough?
So, hey, thank you, OSC, for writing your piece of homophobic drek and consequently teaching me a thing or two about the rainbow world and helping me get a little closer to tags I can pin on myself.
